Had a great experience with SCM roofing. Needed a roof put on for the sale of my parents house that was closing in 3 weeks. Robbie got a quote to me quickly, ensured the permits were pulled, the replacement was done and the inspection happened with time to spare. We did our homework. We got four quotes, and all had the necessary manufacturing products known in the industry. Prices were competitive, as were the warranties. So my wife and I found yourself pointing out who was on time, who was responsive to our request for a quote, and who was or wasn't the sales pitch of the year contender. One company kept coming up at the top... SCM Roofing. They have a zero-pressure approach to quoting us a new roof. Not some, sign today and get $200 off like on roofing company. Robbie was our SCM sales representative and showed up on time. He listened to what we wanted and the type of products we were interested in (we did our homework!!). Robbie explained the products we wanted, GAF, and the benefit of using this product. We went over the different warranties available and discussed other work we needed to have done, new gable ends. We signed the quote, and the next week SCM arrived to put on our new roof. Pedro was the site leader and one of the hardest working individuals! He and his crew placed tarps all around the house. They used large pieces of plywood to block any falling materials from hitting the AC or pool pump. These little things go a long way to show how much care SCM takes to ensure your property is protected. For our roof, Pedro's team was replacing the main roof and flat roof over the garage. I was so impressed that his team was on the roof for only an hour when most of the shingles were removed! They moved quickly and replaced some bad wood and prepped for GAF's leak barrier system. This included the rubberized deck protection, GAF's unique starter strips, and the Cobra ridge vent system. They had the main roof and flat roof completed in one day. They arrived around 7:30 AM and left at 8:30 PM. Upon departure, they had everything cleaned up. Although they have traps on the ground to catch any nails, they event over everything four or five times with a magnet. The next day Pedro and a couple of guys stopped by to install the gable ends. They did an excellent job cutting and replacing the wood and trim. Once again, that cleaned up everything and went back over the yard, checking for nails. Since our job was completed on a Friday, SCM returned on Monday to pick up some remaining materials not used. At this time, a person went through the yard a third time to ensure every nail was picked up. This attention to detail was something that made us extremely happy with SCM. When everything was finally done, SCM sent us the warrantee information, the wind mitigation report, photos of the project, certificate of completion, and notice that the city permit was closed out. We requested an estimate for a full roof replacement after Hurricane Milton, and Robbie was able to provide a better roof option for the same price as many competitors. His estimate was clear and easy to read, he was quick to respond to any questions we had, and even came back over to compare shingle colors to make sure we would be happy with the final result. I am very pleased with the work done by Robbie, Jose and the rest of the SCM Roofing team. Our roof was about 15 years old and needed to be replaced. Robbie got us a quick quote and worked with us to find the right shingles and colors. His team got to my house at 7am and were completely done by 5pm. This included the replacement of 21 rotten boards and cleaning up every piece of debris around the house. SCM Roofing provided exception service. The roofing project they did for me was one of the most efficient efforts I’ve been involved in. Robbie Brown coordinated the work skillfully. Despite the overwhelming workload after Hurricane Milton, he came out quickly to inspect the roof and provided me an estimate promptly. He supplied detailed information about roofing options (shingle type and color, drip edge, warranties, etc.), then laid out what his team would do, to include when they would arrive, how long it would take, and how they would protect and clean up my property afterward. On installation day, a full crew arrived on time. The work progressed rapidly, and the team had the project complete by 2:30 PM. They did an outstanding job cleaning up (including sweeping for nails) and left the property looking better than when they arrived. The crew was prompt, hardworking, professional, and courteous. Communication from Robbie was superb throughout the process, making for a stress-free experience. Within hours, neighbors were complementing me on the roof. The inspection was quickly scheduled and passed. SCM supplied multiple payment options; the bank-transfer option I chose went smoothly. I had called several roofing companies to get a quote to roof an addition we were putting on the house and SCM was the only company to set up an in person meeting without hesitation. Getting a roof completed after a hurricane is super scary because you don't know who to call and when they can get to it. Robbie Brown from SCM Roofing was able to come and look at our roof and explain the damage and give us an estimate quickly considering how many people need roofing repairs. They were able to get us on the schedule quickly and they completed it this week. Boy, do those men work hard. They completed it in 2 days with no problems and it looks wonderful. We worked with Robbie Brown on our roof project. He’s a nice, clean cut, friendly guy and took the time to explain that we already had 3 roofs that would need to be removed. Then he educated me about the various types of roofing materials and what is recommended for the type of roof I have. After reading some online reviews and getting a very reasonable price quote, I hired them for the job. They gave me a detailed contract outlining the scope of work and the materials to be used. Even though hurricane Milton hit right after I contracted with SCM, they still completed the job quickly, even though I’m sure they were swamped with work. No pun intended. Upon completion, I was provided with documentation to give to my insurance company and a 5 year Warranty on workmanship. All the employees I had contact with were friendly, polite, and wore clear company identification. Robbie provided me with his phone number on a business card to coordinate the project and responded quickly whenever I texted him, even on weekends and Sundays. The crew cleaned everything up and hauled away all the trash. I highly recommend that you call Robbie Brown if you have a roofing job. You won’t be disappointed!

Everything was great. Robbie had great communication and Jose did great work. They fixed a leak near the chimney really quickly, matched the paint and shingles so well that it blends perfectly, and all at a great price. Plus they sent photos of the work during and after repairs which was super informative.

After the recent hurricanes damaged our roof, I went online to find a highly rated Tampa roofer. SCM was both highly rated and reasonably priced so I went with them and was very satisfied. From beginning to end, their rep (Robbie) was very helpful in explaining the different options, providing a contract and making sure the job got done right. When rain forced a delay in starting, he was proactive in informing us and rescheduling the job. With a two-story house, it’s hard to view the completed work up close, but the crew gave every impression that they knew what they were doing, and they very carefully cleaned up afterwards.
