I highly recommend Southern Pro Roofing & Restoration. We needed a full replacement and our contact there, Gabe (one of the owners of the business), was extremely helpful in every step of the process. We actually were out of town when we arranged all the details and Southern Pro helped us take care of everything, including going out of their way to help us choose a color for our new roof, as we were not home for them to provide samples. They completed the entire job - including cleanup - while we were away, so we did not have to hear all the noise that accompanies the installation of a new roof. And they used a superior shingle (GAF Timberline HDZ) at a price competitive with other estimates that did not quote a product of that caliber.

Southern Pro installed my large, steep roof about 5 years ago in the Southshore area, and it's held up perfectly. After the recent hurricanes, I had them come back out to inspect everything and they confirmed it's still in great shape even after 100+ mph winds and the rain continues to stay outside, right where it belongs! They were able to schedule my roof job quickly and complete it just as quickly. The work performed was done well... and I am extremely picky (engineering degree)! I cannot recommend and regret using Southern Pro Restoration, a GAF Master Elite Weather Stopper Roofing Contractor, Tampa, FL. Their roofing crew started work on my roof on October 7, 2019. They removed the old shingles, vents, etc. from my roof and then it began to rain. They did not have tarps, plastic sheets or anything else to cover the roof and protect the interior of my home. I had to furnish buckets, pans, wet/dry shop vac, etc. for them to use to collect water and clean-up. The water damage was so bad, my wife and I had to stay in a motel for 8 days. As of today, February 27, 2020, Southern Pro has not reimbursed me for several items they agreed to pay for. It has been 3 months since I sent them copies of the receipts for those items and made several calls requesting payment. They not only have not reimbursed me, they wanted payment for the “roofing job”. L & M Wesley Chapel, FL

Southern Pro restoration helped me every step of the way in replacing my tile roof. This was storm damage that required them to coordinate with my insurance company, my attorney, the design board of my HOA community and many challenges of the supply chain. The communication and estimates were excellent, and the quality of their workmanship was exceptional. The cost was very reasonable. We went with Barcelona 900 Burnt Chestnut concrete tiles, and now my house looks like it belongs in a Mediterranean magazine spread. Amazing people, Nick helped me with getting my roof replaced through my insurance. He helped me with navigating alot of things from getting my solar panels off and with just dealing with insurance. I had a pretty bad experience with these guys. Chad Sherr was my point of contact. Really bad communication, job took way longer then quoted, and they left material on my front lawn for over 3 weeks and ruined the grass. Told they would be by the next day to pick up and no one ever came back to pick up. Called repeatedly and eventually just moved the material myself. They put a black roof on the house when I had picked another color. This was the explanation I was given... "spoke with Chad and he did receive your shingle selection. Then he found out that shingle was discontinued and just moved forward. I’m sorry no one reached out to let you know that. As for the soffit the roofing contractor will be going out to address that. It’s just that the guys that were there doing the roof do not do soffit work. They have a specialty group for that kind of work They will be replacing the soffit and getting the wood painted." Soffit took another 2 weeks and looks horrible.
